Does not work with iphone 6s , you have to turn on speaker manualy, then you can connect

Have a few observations: Needs a graphic/ux designers eye. Design is a bit cluttered and could use some finessing. This is pretty clear in Block Party mode. iPhone 6S cant remotely turn on the device. Noticing that Block Party could use some reorienting. Maybe songs could be thrown into a mutual playlist or something? Its a bit annoying that DJ 2 & 3 cant see the Party slide in the app at all. Otherwise, loving the device itself. Waiting on the app to rise to the quality of its model.

I am also finding that the remote on/off doesnt work anymore. But I was also having a major battery life issue with the speaker- went thru tech support at Logitech etc and they concluded that the speaker must be defective and had to be sent back to them. Well I went to use the speaker one more time before sending it back...went to turn on speaker thru app...didnt work...decided to delete the app...and guess what? My speaker battery problems have gone away. I can use it for as long as I was able to when I first got it. So please pay attention to this, UE. Your app sucks...literally.

Was working until most recent update. Phone connects and plays through but the app wont recognise the speaker. The app can wake the speaker but otherwise thinks its not connected. Tried forget, reconnect, reboot and all the obvious quick fixes. Update soon please.

Seems really glitchy. Tried using the alarm feature, sometimes it wouldnt go off, sometimes it wouldnt play the song I selected, an alarm should be reliable...

Worked fine until tonight it decided to quit. Tried reinstall etc but dead. Not impressed

App cant recognize the speaker. Used to be a great app. NEEDS TO FIX ASAP!

App wont connect to my UE Boom. Such a great addition having the app if it was to work!

Was working fine till the latest update caused it to not work except turn it on and off. Had to reset UE Boom 2 by holding on/off button and negative/minus button till it turned off so I could at least just bluetooth it from my iPhone. Fix it soon or you will continue to get crap reviews!

To users: to those having issues, delete the app and reinstall. I did this and can now power on via app. To UE: need multiple alarms with day by day control, better app interface, fix known bugs. Great hardware but this app really needs work.

My boom2 works fine. But the app doesnt recognize that its paired so it keeps telling me i need to be paired first to get started. Ide like to access the app for the eq but i cant even do that.

Absolutely horrible update. Replaced mostly logical intuitive terms with irritating cutesy ones. I used to be reasonably happy with 2 UE Boom 2 speakers paired in stereo. If this is the way Logitech intends to move forward, I now regret my decision. Until app version 5, they hooked together, locked in stereo. When speakers were turned on, they would connect in stereo. Now they connect, but this app need to be opened every time to again select stereo. Who cares about being able to link 50 speakers. I have 2... Am I the only one silly enough to have bought 2 of these because of stereo functionality? If you want to add features, make Bluetooth smart work for more than one speaker as a system. Make it so I can let someone else connect their phone to my 2 stereo speakers without needing to re-pair the speakers. If you want to sell more speakers, make a sub which works with 2 booms in stereo.

I updated the firmware in my 2 UE boom 2s, and now the speakers wont pair in stereo with my iPad Air 2. UE support told me that there was a glitch in the UE boom app. Fine! Now, what in hell are the owners of these very expensive speakers to do? Not one word from UE or Logitech to let customers know what the company is doing to rectify the glitch. They dont even offer a link to the original app! I guess this company will lose market share if they continue to ignore their customers.

App no longer works. It will not pair on Bluetooth. Did anyone at Logitech actually test this update? This is the new zeitgeist for software. The only solution is for senior executives of software companies to personally live with their sh1t before foisting it on their unsuspecting customers.

Please update the app very soon, it doesnt even recognize my UE boom 2 anymore. Even when it did, it had problems with the alarm not working. Shouldve just kept the old app!

The app doesnt work! No longer recognizes my speaker on Bluetooth rendering it completely useless. The company should be ashamed for not even checking the app before putting it out. Its been 2 months and it is still not fixed. They should be ashamed
