BOOM & MEGABOOM App Reviews

My UE BOOM is phenomenal. The app...not so much. Even though my speaker is perfectly paired to my phone and playing music normally the App will not recognize my speaker at all. Ive reinstalled the app, reset the BOOM to factory settings, reset the settings on my phone all to no avail. Would love to be able to fully utilize my UE BOOM the way it was intended. Maybe one day.

Trying to set an alarm with the current version causes the app to crash. Very disappointed since this was my alternative to having an alarm clock.

The April 2016 update pretty much fixed all the connectivity issues I was having with the iphone6s app and UE Boom 1 so Im happy now. Does the job to turn on/off and sync via Bluetooth.

Love the speaker. I cant make it work through the app. Called support & after having me uninstall then reinstall then restart my phone, the guy looked it up & found its a known problem - doesnt work with iOS 9.3.#. I bought to use the tap function but you have to turn on with the app :( Guy said it should be fixed in 3-5 weeks!

Cannot detect the speaker after forgetting device in Bluetooth menu and searching for it while the speaker is discoverable. Please update this app to work with current iOS.

The US Boom app should be able to connect to UE Boom speakers - it doesnt. The previous version did.

Love the speaker but this app doesnt work. Keeps saying to connect speaker while Im literally using it...

I love this app! It works perfectly on my iPhone 4s and 5s.

This app doesnt work, it says to make sure that I am connected to my speaker. While I am currently using it. So frustrating

Unfortunately the App will not connect to my UE Boom 2. Have tried deleting it and downloading it multiple times. Good thing the speaker works regardless because this is useless.

I used to love this app! No longer does the smart bluetooth work or connects to the App. Ive unpaired it, repaired it, removed device from my iPhone re added, uninstalled the app reinstalled it, i even plugged it into my computers to see if there was a soft ware update for the speaker and still no luck. Come on UE whos in charge of your App development? They should be fired for this crap.

It worked for the first few weeks and now no matter what I do it wont connect to the device. It keeps saying "make sure UE is turned on and in range". Really? Because its right next to it!!! What a waste of time and money, when you can buy a wireless speaker from Walgreens for $20 that has worked for YEARS!!! Dont wage your money, its crap!

In the past, this app has been great to adjust the EQ and notify me of new updates to my speaker. This now will not connect to the speaker through the app. I actually just upgraded to a brand new phone, the problem is still there. Please fix this problem, UE, if you want to keep your customers!

When I first got it, the app paired fine with my speaker. It was great! Now, it cant even find it after the re installing and uninstalling that I have done to try and fix it. The app is useless.

This app worked for about the first 2 weeks when I first got my speaker. Has not worked since, I cant access my speaker from the app whatsoever. Ive tried to uninstall and reinstall.. Nothing has worked.

Now the app wont even recognize the speaker which makes the app useless, hoping for a fix in the near future because the equalizer was useful.

Im on the latest iOS update if that matters. THE PROBLEM is that I can be connected to my speaker by Bluetooth but the app will not even register a speaker

Worked for the first few weeks I had this speaker, now the app wont ever recognize the speaker even when its on, two inches away and playing music. The app is useless and embarrassing. How can a company that can make such a fantastic speaker design such useless software? Its not like the issue is new. Do they like having a one star app? Fix your issues or delete this app...seriously smh.
