BOOM & MEGABOOM App Reviews

I, like many others it would seem, am now (AGAIN; twice since owning two boom speakers) unable to pair them in stereo and keep them paired. Nice work Logitech; definitely considering alternate brands when these finally die.

Party up is now all mixed up! I own many of these boom 2s and the sticky option doesnt work anymore. Units are updated to the latest so is the app.

Just like the title says. I bought this so I can sync it to other UE products and it wont. Really disappointing because thats your whole plug. Garbage. I called customer service and they said theres nothing they can do about it… Wow

This app was working like a charm before. Since the late updates, just connecting to the UE Boom 2 takes me about 15 minutes of hassle and try/error...

I installed the app on my phone and tried to double up / party up two speakers. Impossible despite the fact that both speakers show as connected under Settings > Bluetooth. I downloaded the app on my iPad. Despite the fact that either speaker individually pairs with my iPad and plays music, the app stays stuck on the "Lets Hook Up" screen and does nothing.

I just bought the UE Boom at Best Buy on Boxing Day 2016 (today). I turned it on, connected to it via Bluetooth on my IPhone 7, and it immediately asked me to download the app, which I did. On opening the app, it demanded that I update the UE Boom. However it will not update via the app. The UE Boom refuses to work unless I update it through my computer. No computer. This product simply does not work in a simple manner as expected. Dont buy this product. I am taking mine back.

Delivered as promised within four days, set up, update and sync with no effort or issues to all intended devices. Do I wish for Bigger sound? Sure, but its a mini speaker so once you accept that you can enjoy it for what it is. No regrets.

You could update from WITHIN the iOS app, now thats been removed? WHY? That was a fantastic feature. Now I do all sorts of computer stuff? Im using the app with my iPhone, not a computer. This app is mostly useless now. It tells me I need to update to get custom EQ, but I cant update! What the heck?

Do not connect with ipad

The latest version doesnt allow me to set up and alarm, to connect more than one device to my ue boom and to turn it on and off from my iphone, whats is going on with this?

After connecting UE Boom to Bluetooth, the app doesnt recognize the speaker. Tried deleting the app, redownloading then trying again but nothing happens. Please fix this!! Thank you!

Do not update!! App was working but now the down volume pressed once cranks the speaker full blast!! Cant switch songs with the App, no good!! Speaker is great, app sucks!

Had to delete the app because the alarm kept going off regardless of what setting it was on.

I see lots of negative reviews so results may vary, but I have no problem with my speaker or the app at all. Connects easily, party mode works great, and updating through app is easy.

Great speaker, so this is a review of the app. As soon as I connected to Bluetooth for the first time, I downloaded the app as asked to upon connection. Then after opening the app is says I have to update it. No computer so how do people without computers update it?!? Again, great speaker but the app is pretty much a total waste!!!

For those complaining about connecting more than one speaker, please update your UE BOOMs

I just bought a pair, updated them via my Mac, paired them with my iPhone 6 and they work really well both alone and together - in stereo. The sound quality is excellent.

Sucks! Cant hook up my second speaker

I just got this for Christmas and Id like to suggest adding a sleep timer, as I love to fall asleep listening to music! Dont want to waste the battery or have the music play all night long. Other than that, great!

Speaker connected and playing music, app goes to a screen that tells you to make sure the speaker is connected and the only way out is to close the app. Tried every permutation of Bluetooth connection and starting app, reinstalled app etc. and iOS is current yet the app will not see the speaker. This used to work nicely and is now useless.
