BOOM & MEGABOOM App Reviews

I first started using my speaker and it was great. I downloaded the app and update, and now my speaker wont play music. Its connected and shows its connected, but no sound will come out. Deleted the app, and my speaker still wont work.

It kinda tripped me out for a min not being able to pair my devices until i bluetooth them to my computer and updated the devices on the UEBOOM website. Once the updates were complete they connected right away. I think this app is getting crap reviews due to owner error.

I think Logitech legitimately needs to look into why so many users are having issues, but personally I had no problem. I followed the very simple instructions and had two boom 2 speakers connected perfectly in just a minute. Maybe yall just need to pay attention.

Logitech has known for some time but wont fix.

My speaker worked great and i loved using it. When I downloaded the app and tried updating the UE Boom the speaker never turned on again and it still will not. I have tried resetting it but nothing works

Used to be able to activate my boom with the app and double up but now I gotta listen to them dang bongos!!!!!!!!

Was working well before I updated. Now I wish I hadnt. I keep getting the same stupid message.. "Please make sure your UE speaker is turned on and connected to access this feature." Phone connects but not the app!!

I have an iPhone 6s plus running latest version of iOS 9. Since updating the app it no longer detects speaker (UE Boom), which means I cannot use any enhanced features. I have to restart the phone to make it work, and then it will only work until I turn off the speaker. Such a shame since this is a fantastic product and cannot use features such as remote power and double up. Will change rating once app is corrected.

Completely useless. Speakers wont reliably tether since the update.

I love my Boom, but the app is worthless. It doesnt work at all.

Not at all sure what the other reviewers are about, the app works great. Paired in a flash, updates quick, no problems. Maybe its the user not the app.

Can’t double up. When you do double up, after 15 minutes of trying - no stereo. BTW, no MAC support. So if you want to double up with Stereo on a Mac, forget it. One speaker is fine but don’t waste your money buying two and thinking you can get stereo. You can’t. Looks at alternative products.

Not sure what the negative reviews are about. This app has been great. Turns the UR Boom in, off, makes it softer or louder. Simple. Thats what I expected and it works. The only reason its not five stars is bc I cant find an iPad app.

It is 2016, bigger sized iPhones have been out since 2014. Does anyone at Logitech use their own apps? Oh right, they are still stuck in the past. They also havent heard of iPads. FYI, the app still cant figure out if UE Boom is connected or not. Also, the percentage indicator is gone. Thanks for letting me try to figure out how much battery is left. Please hire real developers instead of interns. Thanks! DO NOT BUY ANY UE BOOM SPEAKERS UNTIL THEY FIX THIS APP!

New iPhone running iOS 9.3.1, able to connect over Bluetooth for music but unable to use the App at all. See above and below rants with same issue, its Jan anymore...cmon guys.

This app is useful to update your speaker. However, why would you do it if you cant use any software features because the app itself doesnt let you turn them on. Step up and fix this application!

Cant use the alarm feature for 8mo on 5s. Opens and crashes. Love the speaker
